Price - for the money charged, it is excellent in terms of location, cleanliness, comfort, safety and pleasant. Location - Superlative! Beyond expectations. Staff - Friendly, helpful to the extent that is possible for them. Can be more forthcoming but you forgive them for the lovely little sweet clean neat hotel they run. They are nice, decent folks who don't interfere and smile and are nice! Food - The breakfast for 6 Euro is good enough - vegetarian but not vegan (for those who are!) and certainly sustains for the day. For those who expect more, please walk out and see the endless number of cafes to get what you want. quit complaining and ranting! WiFi - totally free so makes it even more worth it staying here. its so peaceful, even though so close and central to everything! the rooms are truly a delight. Over all - This hotel is fantastic! I loved it, loved it, loved it. will stay here every time I go to Paris and i already recommended and convinced two friends to stay there!!

Nothing it was absoulutly terrible, there was live cables all hanging out of the ceilings and walls swinging around were you had to pass , parts of the ceiling missing, broken beds , burn holes in the sheets and pillow cases on the beds , every time you turned a light on it blew the fuses and the rooms were in darkness, staff were very rude and un helpfull, absoulutly terrible. How you are advertising this hotel and allowing people to stay is behond me , does not say much for Booked.net

Great helpful and courteous staff!!!
No lift. They were installing one when I was there but I guess that would mean prices would go up. :(

Nothing really. It felt like a backpacking hotel.
I paid 90 pounds for a hotel under construction, dirty, stairs that 2 people couldn't pass by at the same time. I really felt robed!! I def do not recommend going to this hotel.

The hotel was well located to RER trains (RER A, B and D Chatelet Les Halles) and metro (M3-Sentier and M4-Les Halles) and thus well connected to other lines as well. Also connection to airport CDG-Roissy was rapid (about 40 min). Also a walking distance to Louvre and other sights near by. Also the shopping centre Les Halles was near by and the near by pedestrian streets offered a lot of restaurants, cafes and shops. For young people there a lot of bars near by that seemed very popular. The staff of the hotel was friendly and their English was fair enough. The hotel was open 24h which was also very useful. The wifi worked perfectly in the hotel. The hotel breakfast is also of good value if you are leaving early in the morning and need a bite. The bathroom was clean and had a proper shower.
The rooms are small and the bathroom is not fitted for larger people. But it doesn't bother if you use the hotel only for sleeping. The overall cleanliness of the room was a bit poor and dusty. The wall-to-wall carpet was a bit dirty and not cleaned well during our stay. But the bed was made every day and garbage took out. The lift is still under construction but when ready it will help a lot in carrying heavy luggage. If you worry about fire safety, you will be worried at this hotel. If you worry about noise during the night you will be disturbed here. The sound isolation between rooms was a bit poor (showering next room sounded like someone was showering in our room). Also the area is very popular for young people to hang out at bars and during the night there was some noise from the streets.

The room we got was perfectly clean with 2 double beds. the location in a good area was magnificent and particularly good. There were a shopping street and a little market nearby. Orly airport was not so far, only 26 minutes drive away.

central location
I am happy that management decided to install an elevator in the building, but it was a mess in the hotel. The breakfast room, which in fact is the lobby, was dirty and dusty. I would have appreciated a gesture from management to compensate for this. The room was quite small.

Fantastic location - easy walk to many places, plus it's in a great pedestrian friendly area with loads of restaurants and cafes, so had a fun, vibrant, safe feel to it. Was slightly off the main street, so not too noisy at night. Also very close to train and metro station, so easy to get around from. Staff were friendly. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, so we went off for a few hours and when we returned they had already carried our bags up to our room for us, which I thought was good service, particularly as we were on the 5th floor and the stairs were quite steep and narrow. They are in process of installing a lift, which will be good and they are doing a good job of minimizing disruption from this work. Breakfast was perfectly adequate for the price.
Rooms were very small, but that's not uncommon in European hotels and that's the trade off you make for a good price and great location. Once we got our luggage organized the lack of space wasn't a major problem. Could do with a more comfortable lounge area for guests, as the rooms are small - I didnt find that the lobby area was a place where I wanted to go and relax. There was a building site across the road, which was quite noisy. Didn't bother us during the day, as we were out, but they started work quite early in the morning, so sleeping- in wasn't an option.
